Atoms rumored to switch to PowerVR Graphics for CedarTrail
Intel’s upcoming Cedar Trail platform may turn to PowerVR graphics instead of Intel graphics. The folks at VR-Zone claim that Intel will be adopting the next-generation of Intel Atom chips could use PowerVR SGX545 graphics with support for DirectX 10.1 and OpenGL 3.0.
Intel Atom N2800 Cedar Trail chip launches later this year
It looks like that the Intel’s next-generation netbook chips “Cedar Trail” have finally new brand name, named Intel Atom N2600 and N2800. The new chips will replace the Atom N450, N470 chips by N2600 while Atom N570 chip by N2800.
