ASUS G73SW-A1 is so amazingly sturdy and the performance. At home the ASUS G73SW-A1 has totally desktop replacement, while on traveling it also provides a solid performance for your tasks and games.
The G73SW-XA1 comes with Sandy Bridge Core i7 2.0GHz Quad-Core processor, with a big screen which is 17.3-inch, so really great for gaming. The G73SW-XA1 is also extremely well built on the exterior around all its seams of quality materials, not cheap plastic you’ll find on other brands. The lamps from the backlit keyboard can be seen under and around the key unless you sit high above the keyboard looking down. At least you can adjust the lamp brightness and can even shut it off. And the surface around the touchpad where your fingers and palms may touch does not leave smudges or stains but can get a surface scratch with sharp nails.
The ASUS G73SW-A1 also comes with two 500GB hybrid drive, gave a very respectable bootup speed, faster like an ssd. I recommended that you should clean re-install of Windows 7 from startup wiping the bloatware as many users have recommended here and on other forums.

I purchased this computer about a month ago, and waited to write a review so i could get to know it better. I will say right now, i love this laptop, it can run just about everything with the graphics maxed like a breeze. The only exception to this that i have found is Shattered Horizon which i purchased from steam for $5, now $20. The game is a very intense outer space FPS, so the physics are so advanced and taxing on your processor that i had to stick to normal settings. The game is still absolutely fantastic you really don’t notice a difference in the levels of graphics anyways.
