NEC launches LaVie Light BL550/CS with Atom dual core CPU, HD display

NEC has launched the couple of new Atom powered netbook in Japan, which one has a dual core Atom processor and other comes with a single core Atom chip.
The dual core Atom model has named LaVie Light BL550/CS, which features a 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual core processor, 2GB of memory, a 320GB hard drive, a 10.1 inch HD display with 1366×768 pixel resolution and runs Windows 7 Home Premium.
The LaVie Light BL350/CW is a single core processor model that will have a 1.83GHz Intel Atom N475 CPU, 1GB RAM, a 250Gb hard drive and run Windows 7 Starter Edition OS.
Both models also has USB 2.0 × 3, USB miniB, Ethernet, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n wireless LAN, WiMAX, mini D- Sub15 pin, SDXC card slot, and with voice input and output.
The LaVie Light BL550/CS expected to sell for ¥85,000 or about $US 1010, while the LaVie Light BL350/CS will have price at ¥70,000 or about $US 832.
