MSI WindPad 110W with new AMD Z-01 now available for pre-order

MSI has already started taking pre-orders for their upcoming WindPad 110w tablet via Amazon.com. The key point of interest in this MSI WindPad 110w is the 1 GHz dual core AMD Z-01 APU with Radeon HD 6250 graphics and 4GB DDR3 RAM which powers the processing and graphics performance. The WindPad 110w will be one of the first devices to ship with this new AMD Z-01 chip.

The MSI WindPad 110W tablet featuring the AMD Z-Series APU and AMD Radeon graphics which support DirectX 11 and offer vivid HD media experiences and runs Windows 7 Home Premium. The tablet has a 10.1 inch 1280×800 pixel capacitive touchscreen display, WiFi, Bluetooth, HDMI, USB, and headphone ports, an SD card slot, a G-sensor, light sensor, front and rear cameras and 2 cell, 4200mAh battery. The MSI WindPad 110w measures 10.7″ x 7.2″ x 0.6″ and weighs 1.9 pounds.

The TPM functionality lets you encrypted files and data through BitLocker in Windows 7 Enterprise or Ultimate to offer protection for the MSI tablet as well as any detachable HDD.

The WindPad 110W is now available for pre-order at Amazon priced at $599.99 and will ship on August 1st.
