Lenovo ThinkPad Android tablet goes on sale August 23

Lenovo is clarifying its launch plans for the ThinkPad Honeycomb tablet that will finally hit retailers’ shelves on August 23rd. The tablet will also ship internationally during the third quarter of this year.
Lenovo has positioned the ThinkPad as a business-savvy tablet with “all the security, access and power you demand”. The tablet will bring a stylus, detachable keyboard and other business features.
The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet has a 10.1-inch Gorilla Glass IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, dual core NVIDIA Tegra processo, and runs Google Android 3.1. It measures 10.3″ x 7.2″ x 0.6″ and weighs just under 1.6 pounds.
The 16GB Lenovo ThinkPad WiFi model is priced at $479 without the digitizer pen, and at $509 including the digitizer pen, while the 32GB Wi-Fi model with digitizer pen is $589. There is also an optional keyboard portfolio carrying case available for $99.
