[Rumor] Atom N500 (Pineview) will be Dual-Core Processor for Netbooks

From pcinpact.com web site: published a story that Intel is preparing to officially release a dual core Atom N500 CPU for netbooks, but they’re not has details about the CPU.  This will be a first in the range of manufacturer since until now, only the Atom 330 and D510, designed for nettops , had two hearts.

The rumor is possible introduction all but confirmed that it will be based on Intel’s new “Pineview” architecture. If that is true, the chip will feature an on-die GPU, an integrated memory controller, Hyper-Threading and support for up to 2GB of DDR2 memory.
