HP introduces Envy 17 3D and Envy 14 Beats edition laptop

HP has introduced its first 3D laptop, which is named as HP Envy 17 3D. The laptop has 17.3-inch high-definition 1080p 3D display and comes with 3D active shutter glasses for watching 3D movies.

The HP Envy 17 3D also features Intel Core i7 processor, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5850 dedicated graphics, ATI Eyefinity technology, Blu-ray optical drive, Beats Audio with a Triple Bass Reflex subwoofer and supports up to 2 TB of storage. The Envy 17 3D should be available in time for the holiday shopping season and pricing will be announced closer to the release date.

HP Envy 14 Beats edition

HP also introduced the Envy 14 Beats Edition that comes with the high-performance Dr. Dre technology, and Beats headphones. The Envy 14 Beats Edition is in additional model of the Envy 15 Beats that launched last year.

Other features of the Envy 14 include a 14-inch display, a choice of Intel Core processors, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics card and up to 6.5 hours of battery life. The Envy 14 Beats edition is available with prices starting at $1,249
