Dell Latitude XT3 convertible tablet goes up for pre-order

The product page for Dell Latitude XT3 tablet hybrid PC is now available for taking orders with a preliminary ship date of September 26th. The business-class convertible laptop is priced start at $1,789.

The Latitude XT3 convertible tablet comes with 13.3-inch high definition Wide Viewing Angle LED display, with Pen & Touch and a 1366 x 768 of pixel resolutions. The screen options are choosing whether or not you want a webcam or daylight viewability. The base model will be powered by Intel’s second-generation Core i3 processors with integrated HD 3000 graphics, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM and up to 250 GB hard drive (5400RPM) or a 320 GB hard drive (7200RPM) or a 256 GB Solid State hard drive. It centers on a 13.3-inch display and runs Windows 7.

The laptop is protected by magnesium alloy with a powder coated base. It also has a Dell Data Protection, Remote Data Delete and a Free Fall Sensor.

The Dimensions & Weight of the Latitude XT3 are 12.7 x 1.2 x 8.7 inches, while the weight is around 4.46 lbs with 6 cell battery installed.
