Asus NX90Jq high-end multimedia laptop now available in U.S.

Asus NX90Jq is a high-end multimedia laptop initially came out last January during the CES 2010 and now available for purchase at several online retailers in the U.S. for about $2,200 on the NX90Jq-A1 model. The laptop features the 18.4-inch 1080p (1920×1080) display, Intel Core I7-720QM 1.6GHz quad-core processor, Nvidia GeForce GT335M 1GB dedicated graphics, 8GB od DDR3 memory, 1.28TB of storage using dual 640GB hard disks, and a Blu-ray Combo drive. The speakers in the Asus NX90Jq-A1 are integrated into the lid, developed with Bang & Olufsen which delivers wider sonic range, louder volume and deeper bass.

The NX90Jq is the world’s first laptop to feature dual touch pads, positioned at either side of the elegant keyboard. The NX90Jq is also the first laptop in the world to sport speakers that are integrated into the lid as opposed to the main chassis, which is made of aluminum in this case.
