Asus ROG gaming laptop ASUS launches ROG G53 and G73 gaming laptops with 1.5GB NVIDIA GTX 460Not long ago, NVIDIA unleashed its new mobile Fermi graphics cards, and now Asus is the first company to take its GTX 460M to line of gaming laptops. The Asus Republic of Gamers G53 and G73 laptops will both get the new Fermi-based GTX 460M video card with a massive 1.5GB of GDDR5 memory. Both laptops also support 3D output to any compatible large screen television through HDMI 1.4.

The new GTX 460M GPU boasts 192 CUDA cores that supports DirectX 11 and high-definition 3D gaming, which allow the laptops are ready for the newest and most demanding PC game titles, including StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty from Blizzard-Activision.

The Asus G53JW has a choice of Core i7, i5, or i3 CPUs, up to 8GB of RAM, a 15.6-inch (1,366 x 768 or 1920 x 1080) display with a 3D option, up to 750GB HDD or a 500GB SSD and optional Blu-ray. The G73JW has the same options and only differs in screen size with a 17.3-inch dispaly with 1920 x 1080 or 1600 x 900 resolution.
