ASUS Eee PC 1015PEM netbook gets dual core Atom N550 processor

Since Intel recently announced the dual core Atom N550 processor for netbooks, ASUS decided to release the new Eee PC comes with a new dual-core Atom processor on the market soon.

The new Eee PC 1015PEM features an 1.5GHz dual core Atom N550 processor, supports DDR3 memory and 720p HD video playback support. The netbook will have a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) display, up to 2GB DDR3 RAM, up to 320GB HDD, GMA 3150 graphics and come in four colors – red, black, white and pink.

The Asus Eee PC 1015PEM is expected to arrive in the UK in October for around 349 Euros.

Update: ASUS has up the official product page already. The new Eee PC 1015PEM also has a few other new features, including support for DDR3 RAM, Bluetooth 3.0, and USB 3.0.
