The MacBook Pro MB990LL/A Laptop from Apple has the same design as the current MacBook Pro MB990LL/A with their unibody casing made from a single sheet of aluminum, but includes an LED-backlit glass display (instead of an LCD panel), SD memory card slot, FireWire high-speed connection and glass trackpad that doesn’t include a button that features Apple’s Multi-Touch technology.
The MacBook Pro MB990LL/A laptop come with comes pre-loaded with Apple’s Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard operating system, and is ready to run the Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard operating system.

The Apple MacBook MB990LL/A model is a reasonable value for the money, but cheaper laptops are certainly available. You do not have to worry about using unfamiliar with the MAC OSX operating system. Because the MacBook Pro MB990LL/A is Intel-based, they can still be used to run Windows applications, either through Apple’s Boot Camp or virtual machine software.

- finally a price cut with a performance upgrade!
- new Snow Leopard Operating System comes pre-installed! Same great ease of use with much faster performance!
- backlight keyboard on all 13″ models now!
- battery life is significantly better than last year.
- the computer is designed beautifully truly a head turner.
- iLife 09 suite is superb for pictures, movies, and music.
- SD card slot accepts SDHC up to 32GB.
CONS
- aluminum outer casing does dent easily if dropped.
- power cord is short and does not reach as many places.
- battery can’t be removed easily
- SD card sticks about half way out of slot.
- blu-ray option would have been nice but understandable given licensing fees.
