Acer Aspire One AO721 and AO521 netbooks Official in the US

Acer announced a couple of Aspire One series netbooks, both of which are powered by AMD Athlon II Neo processors. The 11.6-inch Aspire One 721 and the 10.1-inch Aspire One 521 are designed for ultra-portability and usability, delivering high-definition graphics and video playback, and smooth communications.

The Aspire One AO721 has the AMD Athlon II Neo K125 processor paired with 2GB DDR3 RAM, the Radeon HD 4225 integrated graphics, a high-definition 11.6-inch CrystalBrite LED backlit display and a 250GB internal hard drive loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium.

Other details include 1.3-megapixel webcams, fast Ethernet LAN, multi-gesture touchpads, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, HDMI outputs and 6-cell battery (5.5 hours). Available in black only.

Other details include 1.3-megapixel webcams, fast Ethernet LAN, multi-gesture touchpads, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, HDMI outputs. The Aspire One AO521 is available in two patterned designs in black and brown.
