Acer AC700 Chromebook will ship in mid-July for WiFi and mid-August for 3G

It looks like there has been a bit of an update in shipping date of the Acer Chromebook. According to the product pages of the Acer AC700 WiFi-only at Amazon.com, it’s expected ship in mid-July for $349.99, while the 3G model will be available in mid-August for $429.99.
The Acer AC700 has Chrome OS pre-installed, and packs a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N570 dual core processor, an 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 LED-backlit display, 2GB of RAM, GMA 3150 integrated graphics, a 16GB solid state drive, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, a full-sized keyboard, HDMI output, and a battery enabling up to 6 hours of use. It weighs 3.2 pounds.
If you can’t wait to try out Chrome OS then you might try out the Samsung’s Chromebooks.
