Acer AC700 Chromebook coming to the US this month

Acer has announced its first Chromebook laptop in the United States. The Acer’s Chromebook laptop will be available this month starting at $349.99 and a 3G capable model coming later this summer. Acer had planned to ship the Acer AC700 Chromebook on June 15th, but after missing that target date, the company sent out a press release announced the imminent launch of the device today.
Acer AC700 Chromebook comes with an 11.6 inch display, a 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N570 dual core processor, 2GB of DDR3 RAM and a 16GB of flash storage, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, two USB 2.0 ports, and a 4-in-1 memory card reader. Plus, the Acer AC700′s HDMI output lets customers stream video from the cloud to high-definition TVs and displays.
